Family Ficathon

I'm a slash fan. I like to read stories about men loving men and women loving women in a very gay way. But every so often, I think to myself, "Dude, seriously. There is more to life than sex.

Occasionally, I like to read gen. But it's a very specific kind of gen. Emotionally-charged and relationship-oriented. A great example is Torch's A Spirit of Brotherhood, which is not sexual but full of seething emotional connections and misses. The history of relationships is playing out across our eyes.

I figured I could not be the only person looking for that sort of story, so I offered a challenge. These are the results.
